Hi, Well that would be one solution, but my problem is really how to create such a thing that it is possible to navigate through several pages, within one div? (So the rest of the site doesn't load every time). If that is even possible!

Hi all, Not too great on explaining this issue but hopefully someone will understand! Basically, I'm designing a really simple site, basically consisting of a box with navigation and logo at the top, then a left sidebar and main contents. As the box would be fixed size (say 800px high) it obviously can't expand if more content is added. As I intend to add a gallery (using lightbox), I'm going to need to find a way where I can put thumbnails on, and then somehow have a second, third page with more thumbnails on. What would be the best way to do this? Ideally I wanted something such as clicking a left arrow within the div, and it loading the next page (without having to reload the whole site)... is this possible? I've also seen examples where the div would scroll using the main scrollbar... but everything else remains exactly the same - I don't really like this idea though as it is a bit confusing and doesn't look too great. So, any ideas on how to achieve this? Thanks!

Hey guys! I've come up with an idea on how to display some pieces of information, but not sure how to go about designing it. Basically, what is displayed is a small 160x120 image, alongside a short paragraph next to it. Currently it is displayed in a 2x2 table but it doesn't look great. Ideally, I something that can fade in and fade out, each piece of information. E.g. First picture and text, then it fades out, next picture and text fades in, then that fades out and onto picture and text 3. How would I do this? Been thinking of PHP/Java/AJAX but not really sure. Can anyone offer a starting point? FYI, the data (mainly the abstract) is pulled using php/sql from a database. Hope you can help Cheers!

Hmm, I think I managed to figure this out. Added overflow: auto; ...and it appears to have worked!

Hey all, Got a small problem! Trying to float an image in a box to the right and at the bottom (it is a pair of " "... the top " is fine, but the bottom " is being a pain) of the box. However, while it is aligned to the right... it's outside the box! Even when the </div> closing tag is after the image. Any ideas how to fix this? Cheers!
