hello everyone. i am developing a PHP website which i was builind using mysql. but suddenly i realised that i need graph database for something like social network. 1) can you please help me choosing a web hosting service which have graph database support and have php integration. OR 2) is there any alternative to graph database for social netowrking(e.g finding friends of friends). in short. i prefer PHP , Mysql and a free web hosting which can integrate with a graph database. can you suggest 4 opensource and free combinations of web language + web hosting + database + graph database thank you very much.

the company is owned by my DAD. and he dont need a website. i am a computer engg. in 2nd year. and i am trying to increase my skills. so this comapny dont need the website. but if they get one. it will be easy for them to work together.

hello everyone. i am working on a website for a comapny. Now this company have lots of branches. what my website will do is to unite these branches. actually all braches have same company structure, and each branch is working for respective local area. now my job is to unit all these branches so they can share there experience with each other. so it will be a sort of company's own local social networking website. but the data should be secure. because the data which the workers will share will be very sensitive. my question is that, 1) Which Language should i use for this website? PHP, JAVA, DOT NET? the language should be ***Light ---fast to load on computer, because here internet browsing speed is very low. so everyone can easily use it on a speed of 20kbps ***flexible -- i am pretty sure that company will change its demand time to time. so i want to make website very flexible to changes. ****UserFriendly -- the users of my website will not be a good in computers, they will have basic knowledge. so i want my website to be very very user firendly. **** secure -- the data user will be sharing will be very sensitive so my website need to be very secure. **** high number of users. and all using at same time. 2) i want to make my website very secure. very very very secure. which Server technology should i use? **** the number of user using my website will be HUGE. about 100000 people or even more. and they will be using it on same time. i mean the time when they will use my website will be same for all. **** they will update insert or even delete the data from my website frequently, i mean they will be using database a lot. so i want it to be fast. ##and can someone guide be for a book which can give my detailed knowledge of these thing? i mean which erver to choose, which language to prefer. and more on this stuff? i dont want any guide on some language. i want a book that give teaches me which thing to use when.if you get what i mean. ##

hi well ,sorry in advance if my questions are silly. i am currently working on a website. its my holiday project. i have many queries. as i am a completly new. i know HTML, CSS, PHP, javascript and sql. i have learned them individually but never got a real experence on them working together. the actual information and ideas of working of project is mine. so i need to guide how it should work. while he can actually make it work. i have the basic knowlegde of concepts and working. but not a deep knowledge. i am currently working with my partner who is expert in these. but he has gone out to some other country. so i need to complete the project with him, while he is away. my 1 question is that. we have purchased a domain and space on internet. and using cpanel. i want to know how can we work on single project and edit it. i mean how can i know about the changes he make and how he can know what i changed. basically how will we SYNCHRONISE ourself on same project. i will be have dozens of silly question which i kindly request you guys to answer. i will be very thankful to you all.

Just a last query. thanks in advance i want something similar to "signin" thing on this forum. i mean when i click on "sign in" on any page, a "inPage" popup apears. i know it is done using ajax. or something similar. but how should i adjust this "popup" size in html? or is its size defined in ajax only? i mean i want to hand over all forms of html to my partner. what to do

hi. i am making a website in which i have some problem i am trying to make something similar to facebook status upload. 1) a user click on upload button. 2) the webpage dynamically changes and a new area is shown with fulll form of uploading with following entries *Topic *description *upload file 3) after upload it should disapear and post confirmation should be shown now my problem is that i want to make this happen on different pages. so i want to know 1) can i make a single form page and connect it to many buttons on different pages.(like 1 on profile page, 1 on home page. i hope i dont need to design it many times. i mean i want to design it once and make it work on all pages.) 2) what should i use in my form? TABLE tag or Div tag so there allignment do not get distored with zooming in or out.? and now the most important question. i want my website look same on all zoom levels. i mean like facebook dont get distore, instead facebook get zoomed in and out completely as a single object. not as discrete small object. how to achieve it??? please give me a detailed answer or direct me to some good direction. i am completely new and confused.
