  1. Hi there, The above answer is good, but first of all it's incorrect to put a line of 'a' tags together. They need to be in containing elements like a list such as the below layout <ul> <li><a href="https://twitter.com/LukePORTuni"><img width="83" height="83" class="Social_001" src="imgs/Twitter.png"></a></li> <li><a href="http://www.linkedin.com/pub/luke-ridley/43/707/a2a"><img width="83" height="83" class="Social_002" src="imgs/LinkedIn.png"></a></li> <li><a href="https://vimeo.com/48061622"><img width="83" height="83" class="Social_003" src="imgs/Vimeo.png"></a></li> <li><a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/LukePortUni?feature=results_main"><img width="83" height="83" class="Social_004" src="imgs/YouTube.png"></a></li> </ul> Once you have this, you can add float:left; to the hr and float:left; clear:both; to the ul to fix the layout. Either that or follow Lyndsey and place both the hr and ul in a div. You may have to add a couple of styles to the ul depending on how the page has been set up (removing list-style, fixing padding etc)
  2. Thanks! All jQuery, apart from the calculator which is JSP for the back end calculations and database storing. Not much, if any HTML5 was used because Thames Water wanted it to work perfectly well for IE7 users so that narrowed a lot of possibilities down
  3. Try removing the "height:100%;" css property on your body and/or html. Do you actually need that? Adam
  4. Howdy, Would just like to get feedback from people here on a website we did for Thames Water this summer called Waterwisely: http://www.thameswater.co.uk/waterwisely It was possibly the must frustrating website we've ever built. The idea was to build a flash like interactive town within a microsite, being able to zoom, collect pins etc. However, Thames Water are very conscious of their audience and as a result we had to build the whole thing with the aim of getting it all under 5MB load time. Not an ideal prospect for our developers when the PSD given to us was 2Gb large and the map itself was vector and over 7000px wide... Anyway despite having to optimise most of the imagery of the site and turn the jquery file into a huge mess after 20 change requests, we finally got there, and they were very happy. But from a design perspective, our Creative Director wasn't too happy with how it turned out. Any thoughts on the site?
  5. Hi there, I'm from a creative design and development agency from London called Jabberwokie. We are steadily growing, and if you live in or around London you may have seen some posters on the underground we did for Thames Water this summer: http://www.jabberwok...c-campaign.aspx Anyway, we're getting quite opinionated in the office now and I thought I would join up here (I'm the Technical Director), and hopefully become an active member of this community, share thoughts, and then use the thoughts I gather here against my workmates! Not sure where to go after this to get involved, but I'll no doubt wonder around aimlessly until I see a discussion that I can get involved in. Look forward to posting with you all, Adam
