How's the new one?

Hello again, it's been a while! I decided some time ago to make a new layout for my website since I was not very happy with my current one. I've uploaded it to my webhotel so you should be able to go here and check it out. It looks the same in IE, FF and Opera from what I can see. It is not complete yet, I still have a lot of work to do, hopefully. Go here [update] Got a new texture for the background, updated the <ul> settings to <p> settings.

Here is what I've done so far... mostly working on the layout instead of the content at the moment. I changed the background since a lot of people thought it was too busy. Is the shade really too big? I think it's just fine... not to big, not to small. >>Clicky<<

I'm gonna try to make a brighter color scheme since this is a bit dark... stay tuned for more updates o.O

I have begun to code the new website... It seems much much darker now than in PS...

Here is an update not to happy with the banner tho... Which is the other one to go? xD I can't remember really.. But it isn't a fully fledged SG-1 movie right? Isn't it only with like 2 characters? And yeah, my english is better than my swedish... at least I have better grades in english

I don't have much to complain about, my only concern is that people may find it hard to see becuase it is very very dark. Try using some brighter colors.

Got a few updates. I did 1 with a new color scheme with more bright colors and I improved the old one. Feedback would be great New Color Scheme No New Color Scheme P.S I have already seen Arc of Truth It was a good movie but I would rather have a whole new season instead of the movie... Movies are too short.

What kind of pictures did you have in mind?

What I mean with graphical programs are Website making programs like dreamweaver... I don't use such programs PS CS2 is a must since our teachers wants us to work with images. Hehe, do you want trade characters or what? I like having Daniel, I feel kinda like him... only he's brilliant and I'm not... not yet anyway.

I have to be honest... I don't see anything I don't like on this website except from the top where it says 'REDBOX MEDIA', It looks like it says 'REDBOX NEDIA' but maybe it's just my screen? I like the Flash work, it isn't overworked like on some websites where the flash actually is a pain to use. Easy to use, at least for me it was... Very good work.

Check it close... I think it's a combination... It's only a matter of a few pixels but that's is quite enough.

Ok, since I am a beginner that made a mess in my puny little head... Could you please make it a little more... understandable?

I'll try to work on this and get some help from TJ, he's much better than me anyway >_<. At the moment I am working in Photoshop CS2, I am not too good with the program itself however so I can't use all the tools yet. Also I am not working in any graphical program, I use PS CS2 and notepad, that's it. On my teacher's recomendation of course. Thanks for great feedback Like ur avatar too, but Daniel is of course the unbeatable favorite, but Teal'c get challenging sometimes.

Looks good, very nice Agreed, this needs working on... Also your 'boxes, parts, divs' or whatever you call them () is not the same width, this could use some editing unless you want it that way... either way it doesn't look pretty. The menu is fine but it is a little disturbing since it is on top of everything.

Something like this perhaps? Oh, and If you think I don't get it... I prolly don't... I'm not a good designer but I do my best. Think I need to edit the color scheme with that background.

Could you develop this a bit more? I changed the text color and it looked a lot better, thanks for the link btw And my sig is a browser game I play...

Lower navigation a little bit and it looks good Also I think it is a bit to much red text, I mean, it's everywhere, I feel haunted... Looks good tho

I am working on a new layout with a new concept and new color scheme. Any new feedback? I have heard people saying the text can be hard to read since it looks a lot like the background. Any ideas of a color that I could use instead? Personally I like it and have no problem reading it.

Thanks for the feedback. I am making a new layout which I hope will be better. Will post updates when it is done.
