  1. Hi, Not many clients just yet - so I haven't thought it necessary to invest in my own hardware at the moment. Instead when given the freedom to choose who the client host's with or if I am asked for a recommendation I have always forwarded them to 1and1. Not only does this help if I am asked for any help, as I have a lot of experience working with them ( I have hosted with them for a few years) but they also have a very tempting affiliate programme. It is definitely worth a look at. You loose nothing and chances are you will gain something. Hope this has helped,
  2. Hi All, Just quickly introducing myself to you all. I have been interested in web design and development ever since my dad first created his own website when I was twelve. Six years later and I am now 18 with a good background in html and CSS. I making slow but steady progress with PHP, but am enjoying myself. My knowledge of design principles, ideas etc is a lot more limited as until recently I haven't really exposed myself to this aspect of building a solution (when doing some small work to begin building my portfolio I have often worked with others who have helped with the majority of pure design work). I am looking forward to reading and posting hear and becoming a part of the community.
