Thats exactly what i was looking for and i used this for the hover #mainMenu li li:hover { background-image: none; background-color: #000;<---- cant remember what i changed color to opacity: 0.9; } and got it all sorted thankyou very much
  5. Hi there i have an issue i cant resolve. basically on the dropdown box i want to apply opacity change(which ive done) problem is bg image showing through as bg image repeating from main link. here is the link to the problem. www.neworldorder.co.uk/navigation.html. look at line 15 of css code, on that line is where i have background for products box but when roll over and dropdown box apears the background from the products box repeats itself. as im applying an opacity which is on line 61 of the code to dropdown links. the bg of products is repeating down each sub link and showing through how can i stop the bg image repeating down the sub links. so i can apply a black box with a slight opacity to show the bg of a page and not bg of the products box. if needed i can post the css code here (line 15 #mainmenu li and line 61 of code #mainMenu ul li:hover ul li a) thank you for any advice.

Hi every1 new user here, i have couple questions. Ive started making a website and so far have sliced a photoshop design and then saved each slice individually, made flash navigation and created style sheet to control the div tags. question 1 - this is my site so far www.neworldorder.co.uk. In the section taht i have put alot of gibberish text is there any way i can make this secton php so i can have like a forum (my webhost has given my mysql database and phpadmin) in this section of the page. if not then question 2 - maby have that section php driven so i can update this section easily. If user clicks the more button "secret world release date" instead of it opening in new window have it open in the section with giberish text without having to reload whole page. appreciate any help on the questions i ask
