  1. Yes, we are sharing on a 6 accounts server. Yeah I did! Fasthosts offering (http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/dedicated-servers/?t=panel-ds) is not too far off my budget, but want to compare a few more firms As for SQL, I need to find out which version we need first, what does it mean by web edition? Thanks for your feedbacks so far!
  2. We are using EUKhost semi dedicate at the moment, their support is okay, but the site is not up above 99% of the time. Current Spec - Semi-Dedicated Windows Server 2003 (ASP.NET 3.5 minimum) - maximum 12 accounts per physical host - Full RDP and Administrative Access (Need this to log in, install and control our non-web based services, i.e. Admin Service, Import Service, Batch Service etc) - DNS Server - SMTP and POP3 Server - Intel Xeon 2.83Ghz Processor - 2GB RAM - 60GB Disk Space - Unlimited bandwidth We will need all above and faster processors and more RAM as each query on the search takes a fair amount of resource, you can check a few links to on the site to get a feel. We would also need dedicated SMTP+POP3 server for mobile/tablet and SQL Server 2008 hosting on top of the above, as we are approaching the limits of running our database on the free (SQL Server 2008 R2 Express). Looking to spend under £100 per month, any recommendation? Have looked at 1&1 and Fasthost so far. Cheers!
