  1. Should I remove the anchor tag or replace it with something else? Having said that though, I wouldn't know how to do this as this is a Wordpress site and this navigation is created automatically.
  2. No, its not working. The parent link 'our services' still changes to orange on hover. This shouldnt happen because its not a link.
  3. Thanks Leon. That worked.
  4. http://funnymoneyprints.com/ The black t-shirt slide on this page has a shipping icon (you may need to wait a few seconds). I set this up to help explain what I'm really trying to achieve. I would like this icon to sit in its own separate div in this position. So it sits there permanently, always visible and static with the slides operating as normal behind it. I tried adding div to the header.php file and some css but failed miserably. Any help greatly appreciated.
  5. Still not working for me. Yes, cache cleared. When I put this code in shoud I be replacing other code or just adding it? I have just added it.
  6. Samus I tried putting this into the css but doesnt seem to have any effect.
  7. Thanks brightonmike, that worked. Do you have any idea how I might bring the footer up a bit on the homepage? Also the footer on all the other pages is sitting about 40px above the bottom of the browser window. Is there a way to have it sitting on the bottom like this page: http://thetaxreturnsite.co.uk/
  8. Thanks Renaissance, works a treat. This has created another minor issue now however - is there any way to disable the hover effect on the parent link "our services"? I have a plugin installed that disables the parent link but it doesnt disable the hover effect. Any suggestions? http://www.mangofundraising.com/
  9. brightonmike The problem I have is editing the html in Wordpress is beyond my skill level due to the fact it uses php. My php skills are zero. Also please bear in mind I am only a novice in html and css. That said I think I understand the content of this link: http://css-tricks.co...learing-floats/ but actually doing it in Wordpress is a different matter. I tried adding this: #main_container {overflow: auto} to style.css but I've still got strange footer things going on. In Safari everything is ok except this page: http://www.mangofundraising.com/?page_id=14'>http://www.mangofundraising.com/?page_id=14 In Firefox all these pages are wrong: http://www.mangofundraising.com/ http://www.mangofundraising.com/?page_id=21 http://www.mangofundraising.com/?page_id=14
  10. Lyndsey, Sorry but I don't understand. How do I "clear the footer div". I'm bit of a novice I'm afraid.
  11. I know. We are hopefully going to move this site to a new host. I will let you know when this happens. Thanks anyway.
  12. http://www.mangofundraising.com/ Any idea why the footer on the homepage of this site is ok in Safari and not in Firefox? Thanks
  13. Thanks Renaissance, I think I understand that. So are you saying it cannot be done? ie have a hover effect on the drop down menu.
  14. http://www.mangofundraising.com/ I've been trying to get the drop down links to change colour on hover but no success. (Main Nav > Our Services) Any help greatly appreciated. There's a css stylesheet and a custom css stylesheet. I think the custom one overrides the css one. This may be making it harder than it needs to be to make these changes.
