I'm new here. So first I'd like to say hi to everyone And excuse myself for all the grammar/expresssion mistakes I might do in this post as I am not a native speaker :/ Short introduction to my webdesign "career" for you to know my skill-level: I'm a high-school student in Germany and I do some webdesign which I learnt by myself as a hobby - so it is far from perfect... I think I know the basics of HTML, CSS, some Javascript (jQuery) and I was looking into PHP which I couldn't go into detail with yet because of lack of time... So now I'll explain one issue (there sure are more than one...) I got on a website I do for an acquaintance. The content of the page is in german - you can just ignore that and it's about local piano-lessons... Here is the link (latest chrome/ie/safari should render the layout correctly while firefox does something strange to it, so open link in both browsers to see the problem): http://www.fortepiano-unterricht.de/ The issue: Firefox adds some mysterious space between the flash animation on the very top and the menu below it. I was testing everything in Chrome only, because I was not doing any too complicated changes on the code. The last major change I remember doing, was adding the facebook and google+ buttons on the right (which aren't working yet). Only then I decided to check it in firefox. And that's when I noticed that additional space. Here's a screenshot of chrome rendering correctly. And here's one of firefox rendering with the additional space. So the problem is that I don't even know when that space came there in the first place. If only I had seen after what exact changes it got there... I could have just reversed that step. But right now I can't think of anything specific I can change to fix it... I appreciate any support you can give me! Maybe you guys know of any common issues like that with firefox? Or there is something completely wrong in my code? Thank you in advance for your help, people! If you need any more information or a better description, feel free to criticize the one that's already there I'll provide a new one then. EDIT: Holy crap the pictures are big...
