I find it the other way i can design but coding is a nightmare, I will struggle to learn though!

I get an error here; foreach($colors_set as $single_colour) Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/lingerie/public_html/new/admin/list.php on line 48 I haven't been able to use the "foreach($ as $ )" command as it gives me errors every time i try to use it?

sorry PHP and my_sql!

I have an array stored in my_sql using serialize, makes a messy string in my database. I use unserialize to turn back into an array. how do i display JUST the data stored inside the array?? This is all i can work out to display; a:2:{i:0;s:5:"white";i:1;s:5:"black";} Or Array ( [0] => white [1] => black [2] => red [3] => blue ) all i want to display is just the colours like this: white, black, red, blue could some one point me in the correct direction as i cant find it anyware? Thank you in advance! Leah

I am trying my first e-commerce site its hard going, basic had max 100 odd commands now days you need to know 100 different languages!

yes yes yes thats one day from one of my sites 1024x768 787 46.13% 2. 1280x800 355 20.81% 3. 1280x1024 210 12.31% 4. 1440x900 100 5.86% 5. 800x600 87 5.10% 6. 1680x1050 40 2.34% 7. 1152x864 36 2.11% 8. 1280x768 19 1.11% 9. 1920x1200 14 0.82% 10. 1280x960 11 0.64%

Thanx thats just what im after, just invested 1000 quid in a set up so got to make it pay! What about e-commerce do u edit a open one or design scripts buy hand?

I am starting to make web sites, and i am programing by hand in html, php, javascript and my_sql. I was wondering if I am making a mistake as this is how I learnt to program in basic as a kid but never kept it up? what do all you freelance designers use?? cms, do u offer this? cart software? do u modify scripts or make your own?? templates? bad practice? want to learn all i can and fast, and you know your stuff! thanx leah

got it; <?php $left = 19 ?> <div style=" top: 2; left: <?php echo $left ?>; position: absolute; z-index: 1; visibility: show;"> <p>eg<a href="eg.php">eg[/url]</P> </div>

the idea of sliding menu's and fading screens does sound memory intensive but if implemented properly doesn't need huge resources as it can be done cleverly, I want to do it from code as this is the most effective way to pack with effects without sucking speed. All i need to know is how to use php in html, css eg PHP <? $left = 10 ?> HTML <div style=" top: 2; left: $left; position: absolute; z-index: 1; visibility: show;"> <p>eg<a href="eg.php">eg</a></P> </div> how can i make this work?

hello all. my name is leah I am relitavely new to web site design yet have coded my new site from scratch in php. I want my front page to blend into my shop page and am not finding any help whatsoever on the net. I also want to slide my navigation menu from the middle to the left while the background goes to black and then fades in the new page. I am thinking of using the alpha setting on a black .png and showing it when my shop button is clicked but don't know how to declare the alpha setting as a variable and cant find help anywere to set a time delay and redirect, I have this so far, lingerie only shop and home button work! (so far) Please could some clever computer person tell me; 1 can i use php? 2 how to use "alpha" as a veriable? 3 how to use onclick to pause and redirect? 4 and can I preload images in this wait time for the next page? I hope this question is in the correct place as i am new to this! Any help/advise/ideas on the site would be BRILLIANT as this is my first proper site i coded from text!
