Hi all, I'm putting a site together that has a set height to fit within the browser window. On the pages where it has an overflow of text, I'm looking for a nicer way to scroll down than the standard scroll bars. I've seen some sites have simple up and down arrow icons but I'm not sure how this is done. Ideally I'd like to avoid using Flash. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

I know I'm a bit behind the times) I've heard that it's pretty powerful to improve your website ranking with Google etc. I can add a URL to a website within the contact section but does anyone know how and where to add an Anchor text link instead on the domain name?? Hi All, I've found a tutorial (link below) that will help me make a box in dreamweaver and alter the transparency. Problem is, I'd like to be able to see the background image through this box in the same way as you change the blend mode in Photoshop to 'multiply'. Does anyone know if there is a way I can apply this to my code and get the effect and keep the image behind and the coloured box above as 2 separate elements and not to do it in photoshop. http://css-tricks.com/css-transparency-settings-for-all-broswers/ Hope this makes sense! I've put a quick site together and it's gone live but I noticed that all works well in firefox but ie and safari font seem to be reading the CSS!!! Hi, I'm putting together a small site selling personalised name prints and would like to use a nicer font throughout the site. I've used Cufon before to help me do this and it works really well, in fact I use it on my own site! For this site though, I've set out the site structure a wee bit different to help with SEO (according to my David Viney book!) Instead of having all the site pages in the same root folder, Ive set up sub folders for eg? ROOT index.html SUBFOLDEREXAMPLE > pageexample.html SUBFOLDEREXAMPLE > pageexample.html SUBFOLDEREXAMPLE > pageexample.html I thought it would solve it by copying the cufon file and font into each of these sub folders but still no luck. Hi All, I've put a website together with a gallery page for a client who now wants to be able to upload photos himself. Obviously he doesnt have Dreamweaver etc so I'm hoping someone knows how I can include a cms photo gallery within the existing html page. Ideally with thumbnails that expant in a lightbox effect. Hi all, I've been asked to look at a flash photo gallery for a friend of mine to fix this problem, I need the help of you guys who know your stuff! He has downloaded a photo gallery and has adapted it to suit his brand. You can see what he has done at http://www.orangeflair.co.uk The problem is that the orange logo in the background remains aligned left and the gallery of images is aligned centre. As you can see, this looks odd when you pull the browser window open etc. Hopefully there will be a quick fix to align the orange logo to be centered the same as the gallery!. Hi all, I need help to fix a problem I have regarding PDF forms I have on a site I'm putting together. I have created a selection of PDF forms, then opened them in Acrobat Professional 8 and set the fields with a submit button. This is the first time Ive created these interactive forms and am pretty sure Ive done it correctly. When I test it on my mac it works fine but when I try it on another mac, I had a comment that said it wasnt possible and when I tried it on a PC it said I need acrobat 8 or 9. Is there a way I can create these forms so someone with an earlier version of acrobat can complete them? If anyone can help with this, I'd be very grateful as I need it up and running soon. Hi all, I'm confident i know how to centre a site horizontally within the browser but is there a simply way to centre the site vertically as well?? For example, say my webpage consists of an image 700px wide by 300px high. how do I get this image to float dead centre, regardless of how large the browser window is? Any help appreciated

Thanks, that might be an option, I just wondered if anyone had a quick fix. There seem to be lots of free feedback forms out there, but they are all blazing with their own brand. I'll keep searching.

Hi all, Do any of you know where I can get a simple feedback form so I can put it on a clients site, without and of the form company's advertisements or pop up thank you pages etc. I host my sites with webfusion and can put my own form on if I create a full account for the client (which costs per year) As its only a basic site, I'd like to host their simple site as a shared site on my account (which doesnt cost me) but it doesnt let me create a form. hope this makes sense ;o) I'd appreciate any help I can get.
