Thank you for the feedback. I am by no means an expert web designer. I joined this forum to find help but as always I do expect to find people like you in a forum. Youtube video - took about 10 seconds to make with windows movie maker. Im aware it is not worthy of the television. Content area needs some padding - thanks for the advise the templates are free, look like something from 15 years ago. - these templates have been discarded on my harddrive for 5 years, I have not advertised them as premium. Footer is totally blank - If you read through this post you will see i commented "The footer ive left blank until I decide what to do with it." Our site is a work in progress. We dont offer clients templates, I want somewhere to store designs a clients has rejected. We offer a FREE service and FREE hosting. Learning web design and management is a hobby of mine only. I havent been to UNI or ever had a lesson. So pick at the code if you wish but keep your comments off my topics.

Is there a good alternative to making animated banners or sliders without the use of flash? I never thought of reading a book to learn php but it sounds a good idea. Could anybody reccomend a book or an author? Thanks guys!

Thats good advice, Ive heard that teams of webdesigners are required to manage large projects. But for me to find my way I would like at least an understanding of some fields. The biggest areas I have issues with at the moment are Flash and PHP. I would like to understand both to be able to create nav bars, ads, headers and php to create custom forms to fit in my designs. just fixed the video by building a better table around it. was stupid of me not to check in other web browsers! The footer ive left blank until I decide what to do with it. Thanks for the comments!

Hi jochemke thanks for the reply, I have removed the social media links from the homepage and split the now smaller video from the form with a nav bar colourd boarder which I think works well. Thanks for the advise. Its always good to have a fresh pair of eyes browse my work. Mine are starting to get sore!

Hi all I am the new guy. Ive been designing websites and graphics (self taught) for 10 years my website is Down-Low.co.uk.
