ZacKnoblauch got a reaction from Lev in Rate My WordPress BlogYou could change the slider size or crop the images differently. Seems very plain to me. I would move the twitter scrolling feed somewhere else and put some page links on the menu bar. Adding a contact and about page wouldn't hurt either. Best of luck

ZacKnoblauch reacted to Lev in Old website vs new?Hello,
http://connorbr.com/index2.php looks not bad
1. Align logo vertically (both top and bottom margins should be of the same size). The same remark is suitable for the top menu.
2. Welcome message ("Hi, Im Connor and I create clean...") - positive letter spacing is not appropriate for a handwritten-like font with connecting strokes.
3. "Contact me" button looks ugly and amateurish (like a newbie's experiment in 3ds Max). Something like a popup div with the contact form, IMHO, would be better than an unexpecting jumping to the bottom of the page.
4. Centrally aligned text in the content blocks looks awful, especially in unordered lists.
5.
"Thank you for viewing my portfolio, this website is created using correct HTML5 and CSS3" - IMHO, this text is redundant.
Hope this will help.
Good luck!

@OP
You need to work on your grid system somewhat, so things aren't constantly hugging the left site of the screen with each successive breakpoint.
