  1. he said: 'keep it this way, no more changes!' So...
  2. CTA has been discussed a lot Here's what I'll do: it's my boyfriends business so when he comes home tonight I'll ask him and let him decide I'll let you know..
  3. the image rolls over into a div with text content...
  4. I used css transitions, guess i have to add a fallback
  5. Thanx for your reply! I was also thinking of another font but the client likes it the way it is now. logo is not designed by me...
  6. I like it. What I would advise you is to make the input fields of the contact form a bit clearer, for example with a border or a darker color
  7. No not yet. It happens with slow connection. then it takes longer for the images to load. so if the image is not there yet because it is loading, everything below comes up because of the height auto.
  8. I'm having some trouble understanding heights. Here's the issue: On a gallery page Link there's some flickering going on when you click another thumb or "next". This is the footer coming up when a new image is loading. If I set a fixed height all is ok but I'm working on making the site responsive. Now when I resize the window it all comes together but with a fixed height there will be a gap, so then it looks weird. Same thing for the homepage header, it has a height set now but when you resize you'll see what I mean. If height:auto, when you land on the page, you'll see the midsection on top first. I hope I'm making myself clear here, bit hard to explain Can someone help? (don't mind the media qeuries markup, it's far from finished and I always do the cleaning up at the end )
  9. do you like this? maybe bit to dark.. let me know
  10. do you hate your whole site or just parts of it?
  11. I like it except the menu bar. maybe try adding texture and a stitch effect instead of the gradient. Also it's not very readable because of the low contrast with the text
  12. It's clear to me that everyone wanted the CTA to be bigger, and I did take the advice and made it a bit more obvious, but I will keep it the way it is now. I will explain: Offerte aanvragen means something like request price offer. I did some research, for example what people google when they want custom made furniture and what information they are looking for. Most people want some information about the possibilities, which is given in the mid section, if they like that, they will want to see the gallery or make contact, but not directly for a price offer but for example: can it be finished by next week? or just see/hear who they will be dealing with. So.. it doesn't have to "shout out" to much
  13. why? did I say something wrong? edit: yeah, I think I know where you're getting the wrong interpretation. English is my second language, not always using the right words I guess.. Sorry about that
  14. Just feeling happy today and want to share with you all that I really appreciate all the hard work and time that some people here give just to help others! You're great! That's to be said!
  15. Wow! A lot of images you got here.. you got 28 external background images on your home page, try using sprites and maybe some css3 techniques for buttons etc. Also what I noticed right away is the email link in the footer, it's is giving me a headache:P so blue, it's just unreadable. The contact form would look nicer if it was to be styled like the rest of the site. Personally I think the headers are to large. Hope this helps!
  16. nah, I'm to shy for that . Also, I have a really jealous boyfriend who already complains I spend to much time with my laptop
  17. So I found this: LINK I think it's something in the right direction? Just don't know how to use it...
  18. Always learning... so maybe you can explain to me what you mean with filtering and injections.. Maybe a link to a good resources site or clear tutorials
  19. how can i mark this topic closed or solved?
