I have tested it on four computers, with one on Windows 7 with Chrome and a 23" screen. The page you've seen might have been an older version that was in your cache... Could you try to flush you Chrome cache ?

UPDATE : That problem has been solved and the huge screen problems to, or I guess so ! Thanks everyone for your criticism and support !

UPDATE : I think I have solved the resolution problem by setting the #content width to 400% and the #section width to 25%. That works fine on my macbook. Can someone with a huge screen tell me if that works too ? However, the JQuery scrollTo plugin doesn't seem to work with relative width... Is there any alternative I can use ?

I'm going to try this tonight, I think I understood what you meant, the parts you suggested to make changes at were well described. Anyways, I guess some those paintings are on sale.

Hi there, thanks for all your comments ! @person4659 : right, there are tons of validation errors, mainly because of some confusions in my mind between HTML and XHTML, I'll get that fixed soon. @zed : I'm not really satisfied with the rollover and the red lettering either, but I thought that part of the page could use a little "spicing". Any idea of how I could achieve this more subtly ? @renaissance-design : the about page has been written by someone else, I wonder wether it would be good to display it as a testimonial ? @nuksies : I hadn't noticed that in the contact page, thanks for paying attention, I will fix that too. @everyone : as you all have noticed I experience major issues when the screen resolution gets bigger, especially above 1280px. I guess this come from the trick I use to allow horizontal scrolling : I have a huge wrapper that is more than 10,000px wide and each section is, as you have seen, 1280px wide and has an anchor at its beginning towards which hyperlinks in the menu point. As you suggested, I tried to set the section width at 100% but that makes the scrolling effect not work anymore. That is a pretty big issue for me, since that demands a know how in css and layout building that I think I don't have yet... If anyone knows a better way to allow horizontal scrolling, and knows how to make it work on any monitor, I'll be grateful ! Thibault
