    Ok, here it is ;

    It's not horribly broken, badly laid out, full of terrible fonts, built entirely from an image or just eye meltingly horrible. So you are already a good 200 steps ahead of most people's first websites. It's a good website. You could stop here, never change a thing and 70% of the web-going public wouldn't ever look at the site and thing "Well that could be better".

    However, It's plainly obvious that it's built by a coder. It's like how Google products looked in 2008. It's obvious the person who is behind the scenes doing great technical work with the code is also the person who does the front end. It's very utilitarian. That's not a bad thing, you are a coder, people expect utilitarian.

    Improvements I would make.
    1.) Add in a splash of colour. There really is just too much grey. The background is grey, the buttons are great. Hell even when you hover over buttons they just go to a different grey.

    The rule I have, that I in no way stole and repurposed from a common backup rule of thumb, is 3-2-1 Colour.
    Choose 3 colours. 2 complimentary, 1 exciting/defining.

    Your complimentary colours are background and general. They should compliment each other and they should be easy on the eye because they will be your go-to colours for things. If you know background colour is X and general colour is Y it's nice and simple to keep everything consistant and to add new stuff without it clashing.

    Your last colour is your identity colour. Pick something that you like. Something exciting. Something a bit vibrant and different. You will use this colour to highlight important things. Logos, Search Buttons, Important Borders. It should be used sparsely and it should be used wisely. Too much can be garish, too little doesn't get the point across.

    Grey/Other Grey & Pink for example. Or White / Black and Red. Whatever. Two muted tones, one identity colour. Can't go wrong.

    2.) This is where I make you hate designers. Ignore what I just said up there ^^ 50% of the time. 3-2-1 Colour is great for keeping it simple. Great for giving you an easy go to for putting things together but for the love of the god-some-folk-believe-in don't get tied down to it. Don't start greyscaling all your icons and images. Don't remove all twitter badges because they don't match the scheme etc. Sometimes you need another colour. For sanity's sake really.

    Thought exercise : Try and make a contact form that can alert users of errors & and success while it exists on a page where only 3 colours are allowed. You can't. Sometimes you need a big green tick or red error box.

    3.) Take away the comment box at the bottom. Put separate comment areas on each project or leave it off entirely. People don't really comment on websites as a whole. The ones that do you generally don't want gracing your front page because they usually can't spell. The index page should be entirely under your control at all times. It's the first sentence you say to visitors. You want to own it.

    4.) Add a bit of context to the lists you have sliding down after I click menu items. Just a small list of text isn't helpful. Show images, show descriptions, maybe lay it out in a grid format. Make it look like I should be making a choice as opposed to reading

    5.) You still haven't fixed 'launced' on your index page. =)

    you can do a simple switch statement to do this

    $file = (isset($_GET['file'])) : $_GET['file'] : false; switch($file){ case '1': //File 1 break; case '2': //File 2 break; case '3': //File 3 break; }
