Thanks for the replies, I've uploaded the Dove's solution to the link so you can see what happens. The tag appears to be centred but there is now a problem of getting th tag to sit 135px from the top? Any more solutions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dean.

Hello generous brainy people, just joined the forum in the hope of learning new things and hope someone could help me on a problem that I'm guessing for you lot would be straight forward. I've posted a link to a page that I'm struggling with, I'm trying to get the pink box that contains the thumbnail images to align to the centre of the surrounding #contact_wrapper /page. the pink box is: gallery_holder { width: 500px; top: 135px; background-color: #FCF; position: absolute; left: auto; right: auto; } And the contain everything sits in is: .contact_wrapper { width:1020px; background-image: url(page_assets/bg_tiled.jpg); margin-top: 0; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 0; margin-left: auto; padding: 0px; background-repeat: repeat-x; position: relative; height: 775px; } Any help would be great.
