  1. I saw his actual site. I can't find it now. I don't think it's listed in the search engines and I don't remember the actual name. He used the same lemon but changed the name and the design very slightly. Anyway, it's almost identical. In my opinion, the magic lemon site was the first draft of his actual site. The actual site was about 1% better than the magic lemon site. Sorry to say, just being honest.
  2. Very nice. Love your style Al. Lev's got some good points. Nothing major but those changes would help.
  3. Looks really good Al. Love it!
  4. Ohhh I see what your saying. You don't think he's "PRETENDING" to be really crap... He is really crappy...? Is that what you mean? I think ur right. Their is 2 terrible sites in his portfolio and I don't think he spent the time making them all for a hoax. http://www.lake-engineering.co.uk/ http://www.phoraid.org/ Not to be mean or anything but again, "don't offer services if you don't know what you're doing." Anyway, I wish I could see the original thread. It must have been taken down or something cause I can't find it anywhere. Oh well...
  5. uhh huhhh... Someone has some extremely useless time on their hands. lol.
  6. =0) Sometimes boredom strikes creativity. Keep up the good work! Nice so far porkchops! Love the stitching effect. Looks great!
  7. Excellent. You've got your gradients, shadows and highlights down perfect.
  8. Very impressive. I love it! Great job!
  9. Hey Sully. Glad to hear you joined. The reputation button is used to reward users with good reviews, help or posts about things you enjoyed reading. I agree. It is a cool feature of the forum. I need you to call me tomorrow. Have fun!
  10. Ahh I see. I couldn't find it either.
  11. What prank was this now?
  12. Very very very good input from both of you. +1 ! @Zed - The Avia Slider is really nice. I didn't know about that one. That instead of flash would be the best way to go. My opinion, Flash is dead... I wont touch it with a 30 foot pole unless it's well worth the pay.
  13. Grinds indeed! Sounds like you're an expert. =0) But yea you're right. Porn is a huge difference but I just thought I'd share my personal experience.
  14. I know a few girls that would work for you. These chicks will hump anyone with 20 bucks. lol. Good idea though. I designed a site for a company called "PornDirectorFantasy.com" about 6 or 7 years ago. They're long gone and I don't think the company ever got off the ground. This was the pitch.... You would pay like $500 bucks (or more) and get to star in your own porn. They would supply the girls, the scene, cameras and everything. You show up and do your thing. I was seriously considering it but what 16-17 year old boy wouldn't. Long story short, they fell off the face of the earth. Maybe they died from 2 many STDs? lol
  15. I like the new site. Great colors! I'm shocked that yellow pages made the old one. I have that exact template on my computer somewhere. About 10 years ago I used to promote a wedding for a family member. I think I used it since I wasn't being paid. I know I've seen it before. If I dig it up, I'll post the screenshot. Great improvement! Post when it's finished. I'd like to see the completed design.
  16. I was? Maybe I opened it but didn't get around to reading it. Anyway. I love the colors! Looks good!
  17. @brightonmike - What is it that you're actually doing for them? Full websites? Any links to see the full work?
  18. @Webtastic - Nice post. I tried it just for fun and it works great. A little ugly but can easily be styled to look pretty. =0) +1 for you! @OwenONeil - I found this nice site that will come in mighty handy for you. http://www.purecssmenu.com/ Hope it helps! Thanks! +1 For me!
  19. By the way... Roothost, I love your new logo. Looks great.
  20. You shouldn't have "float:left" and "margin-left:1px" ... try removing "margin-left:1px" ...
  21. It's all good man. I understand where you're coming from.
  22. @Neverminder - Your kidding me right? Wow. Was my answer not up to par or something? Yea I was asking about wrappers but I'm not stupid. Just wanted to know if there was something I was missing. I know CSS and XHTML just fine but wanted to confirm with everyone. Have you ever had a question? Thanks for the insult. He's asking about a doctype. Nothing I can't handle. @bluemerle50 - Neverminder is right. Sometimes it's the simplest things that get overlooked. I'm not sure if it was a bug or whatever but I used to use Dreamweaver and there were a few times it messed up my <html>, <head> and <body> tags. Add the <html> tag below your doctype and it should would work just fine. Good luck.
