Hi - I have a new ecommerce site (using VirtueMart and Joomla CMS) that includes CD and DVD sales from our small label - and I want to offer whole CD and DVD downloads as a purchase option. For CD's I think I could just zip the MP3's together and upload the zip file to my store for purchased download. Is there a better way to do this? I want my customers to have the least complicated download and extraction possible. DVD's are another matter - Does anyone know what kind of file type or format I should use for DVD downloads? I've searched the web for these answers, but keep getting linked to music hosting services. All feedback is appreciated!

Hello - I'm brand new here. Working on a website for an instrument company, using Joomla CMS. I am hoping to find a way to create a kind of Design your own Instrument where users can select different case styles and finish options and see the result. I have the pictures I need of all the possible combinations, but I cannot find an image gallery or any other extension that can publish user interactive fields that will combine to select a final image of their dream instrument. What I am hoping to build is similar to any basic design your own car page on automakers websites. It would be extra awesome if I could actually show pricing for the instrument created, but even if I can just get the imaging and fields in a single component, that alone would rock. Any ideas? Is there a more common name for this kind of extension? Does it exist for Joomla or will I need to forray into writing my own component? Thanks for your thoughts! Kristina
