  1. How do I make a password protected page?

    I'm new to designing web pages and I was wondering if anyone could show me how to make a type of login box to access a password protected page. I also need to know how to make the page not accessible by simple typing the URL in the address bar. This is probably simple for everyone here but any help would be appreciated.
