people say uni yes, uni no and the reason the people who dont go to uni can get into jobs is that they produce such quality portfolios or are extremely lucky.
so on the back of this i thought, why dont you go to uni AND produce portfolio after portfolio of work. also look for non-paid work (or even basic wage) work for a design company purely to build experience.
Theres two routes.
1. Start low - work up - build experience - find a job
2. go to uni - build some experience - find a job
end of the day, harder you work, further you'll go. and end of the day it gets dark haha.
