ok ok , i know this topic has been covered by many i have read through lots and know my head is in pain and am more confused than i was saw a bloke running through the pub in speedo's I've been running a site for nearly a year(have a look if you're bored dovecarnival.org.uk) the super dooper host is web-mania.com with diesel generator back up and 24/7 LIVE free support with all the bells and whistles 1 could ever dream of. Only problem is, my isitup tool regularly emails me to tell me the sites down, and so do other ppl. grrrrrr. also their 24/7 support is a bot that doesn't even acknowledge insults or invites for a pint, just comes up with random text So, thanks for a fun year web-mania.com but i'm afraid it's time for us to go our own ways, miss you already bye what I want to achieve with my next host is: host a few(5-10) static websites i've got on the cards and appear like they are on their own server space AND not look daft in google not cost me much(not raised much from work I've done yet and won't be charging much for design) fair enough, things go wobble, but need to have site up most of the time not overly bothered about gigs and gigs of space and bandwidth, only anticipate 100-200 visits per month option to upgrade maybe to reseller if it all goes doo lally. i don't want unlimited infinity and beyond not bothered about mysql as still fighting with css. good cgi/php is a must though as there are some really handy free scripts out there DONT recommend bluehost!!! any suggestions are greatly appreciated. having said that the local undertaker suggested she's going to stick a carrot up me bum if i go before her for being sick on the bar(cheap house double - not my fault). i didn't like that suggestion thanks oh and no double glazing sales people please, or thieves, or junk mail. beware of the dog
