Hi Guys, I apppreciate this is probably a novice type question, but I am a novice so please be kind My question is - should I start to learn Adobe products such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc, or Visual Studio to start building web sites? I am currently learning HTML through W3Schools and trying to learn as much as I can. I also have some experience in Photoshop but as a complete novice, I am still unsure on which software to start learning and would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance, G Powell

Thanks guys, Sorry I have not replied earlier - haven't on here for ages as work was manic! Yes, it could be I need to understand the whole web development side rather than just web design. Thanks for the advice. Gareth

Hi Guys, Just a quick intro note. I work in an E-Commerce business, mainly selling goods on eBay and Amazon and now our own direct website - http://theemporiumdirect.co.uk/ Whether I will be able to grasp web design is a test in its own right, however I am very keen to learn. My workplace are thinking of putting me through a web design course, however if you guys have any suggestions/info/advice on how to best get into this, it would be much appreciated. I am open to studying at a college, at home or online. Thanks in advance, G Powell
