I sent to your volodko email one music track I am working on at present, though its only a conceptand hasn't been laid down on a digital multitrack, mixed, and hasn't used a dedicated drummer. Art, you have one exercise in freehand rotring pen, one in pencil, and 3 canvasses, the one that is untitled I am working on at present. All the above are sufficient to give an insight into my work.

Thanks mike, So you are a punk player then...unfortunately I'm old enough to remember original punk starting! What guitar do you play? Fortunately I am old enough to afford a US American strat AND a Classic Series 69 Telecaster Thinline,as my mainstays. Anyway nuff of that, back to web stuff, I wanna create a fan club site that will have a one off lifetime membership fee, lets say £5 or $5 whatever, All you will get for your money is the fact you are listed as a fan - yeh mad idea but forget the sanity of it, I just need to find the right mechanism to do it. Shopping carts I don't need cos there is only one 'item' a standard fixed joining fee, so is there some kind of 'hit one buton and pay the fixed fee method' I can use? Also I note hosts provide 'merchant accounts' but would I need a merchant account? Cant I just add lets say a paypal button to a non merchant account or does adding any form of payment link require a merchant account? Cool if you can answer any of this.... Paul

My topic title is merely to make a change from the usual, hi, hello, etc etc. I am not an expert in site building having only every built a site with yahoo site builder. I did change the templates for some I designed myself in paintshop, and I have changed my servers over,so whilst I am not a TOTAL novice I am limited in my abilities. I am artistic orientated though and draw and paint - old school, not digital - and love design in general which I suppose is a bonus of sorts. Its the tech stuff I need help on, well more like guidance/advice really though no doubt specific tech stuff may arise! I don't watch tv at all, don't read newspapers, own 4 guitars that I love, and my music taste is eclectric.

Hi I am new to the site so first of all let me just say hi... Ok I have an ecommerce question/problem so perhaps someone can help me out and give me the bare bones of what I need. I have no hosting and no domain yet but I am wanting to start a site that is a fan club. I want to charge a one off life membership fee. No newsletters being sent out, no merchandise being sold, but I would want some personal identity info like name, address, email or whatever. I don't need 'shopping baskets' for 'items', I just need a membership fee gathering facility so I want to know if I can just get a 'normal' site hosting package and then just add a link from the site to say paypal or would the host require me to buy a more expensive ec-ommerce hosting package? I've roamed round the web looking for the answer to this but can't find the answer - I thought it wouild be an easy question to find the answert to but boy was I wrong! Any help and/advice much appreciated, thanks.
