Hi Nathan Yes i agree dreamweaver is a fabulous tool which I do use as is photoshop, but I like to be able to understand what the code does as well, the mechanics side of things. For this I use Programmers Notepad. But yes dreamweaver does make it so much easier. Regards

Hi html i have been reading and writing in parts for last 4/5 years, not the quickest at writing it but understand what its all doing and where it goes wrong. Been studying a bit harder the last 3/4 month to really get to grips more. As for graphics I can put together general buttons and the likes but I have a nephew that is helping me if I need anyhting more sinister. And hey thank you for the reply. Regards keith

Hi all, I'm fairly new to webdesign, I have spent the last couple months getting to grips with html, out of work 46 yr old with a computer, hehe. Basically i have studdied various book (websites0 and done a fair bit of playing around with html to get the mechanics of it. I done this with the intention of my goal being PHP/mysql and this is the stage i'm at. I have set up apache2.2 php5.2 and mysql 5.1 all are loaded and running altho not 100% they doing it corredtly. I have wrote (copied) a simple learn me script of a feedback for and tried the php server side and all seems ok Is there any website that anyone can recommend as to where I can gain a fair ammount of instruction or tuition, so that i can get the the sticky end of these. Plus will i be able to test all functions of php on my own (localhost) ie sign up pages and password protection user account things.
