  1. Couple replies and nobody has mentioned this eh? Might want to spell 'professional' right before claiming to be one
  2. Haha. Awesome. I decided to get the 'wordpress rockstar' book, as it appears to address what I'm looking to do. So far so good. Kinda bummed it's only an ebook and costs $30 usd, but what can ya do
  3. Hi there. I've googled around quite a bit, but still haven't found something I would consider substantial and in-depth. I'm hoping to find a guide, or at least a book, that takes you very in depth into designing wordpress themes. And more so with a focus as designing themes to act more like a CMS, than a blog with emphasis on static pages and nested pages, etc. Can somebody make some recommendations?
  4. I have a potential new client for a web site, and quite frankly, their branding and logo is horrible. Terrible font selection, terrible "art" as the logo. And yet they want a quality web site. If this was 1995, it wouldn't matter too much since web sites look horrible then too. But now, we are all pretty stylish designers making beautiful web sites, and anything I make would look unbalanced with this terrible branding scheme. I should probably add, they are pretty well invested in their current "identity", signs, print materials, the whole nine yards. Selling them on a rebrand probably won't be possible. Do you tell clients like that to take a hike, or do you manage to design around it as best you can?
