  1. Thanks for the feedback kdev. When i originally designed the homepage I did not have any concept of a logo, so adding it in later just did not look right. I may try again. Agree with you on the typography needs work. Good point of making links from the title texts. I will also look at adding some more "negative space" around the sign up button. Cheers
  2. lol thanks.... spelling is really not my strong point!
  3. If you upload it to the hosting then link directly to it for example: freehostia.com/user/script.php should execute the script. But it would depend entirely on what the script actually is and does.
  4. Been developing with PHP for 7 years roughly and still learning my friend.

    Hi, assuming you set up the message table, its having trouble extracting the information. try two things: 1: <? echo $sql; ?> see if anything is being pulled back from the database. 2: while($row=mysql_fetch_array($sql)) { extract($row); //try add this $msg=$row['msg']; $msg_id=$row['msg_id'];

    Agreed this can be done with flatfile, but then what would be the point? I use pagination as the content is dynamic. If your not adding dynamic content you may as well just build the pages with links to the next page. Unless you have a script that inserts a flatfile as the next in a sequence but how would you record the files? In another flatfile? very odd if you ask me.. Cheers Rob
  7. Hi all, New here and I like what I see, some good topics going on. As the title suggests the website I would like feedback on is: http://www.awdp.org/ I did have some feedback from a group of beta testers already with some positive feedback. Clearly everyone has an opinion and may like something that someone else may love. So be fair and think its aimed at a wide audience so graphics are low for a quick load and profiles are designed to stand away from the actual site itself. Cheers Rob Cullen
