  1. Thank you, but I was talking of the header only. The header with the menu is the new thing. The rest of the site is as it was before - not yet redesigned. The rest of the site will be designed in the style of the header and the left vertical menu will be gone - the top menu will stay.
  2. Thank you very much for the useful resources. By the way, I have already redesigned the header and integrated the menu and login form with it. Please take a look. Is it better than before?
  3. Thank you all who posted. I'm not offended at all with you comments guys - I was expecting it. After all, I am not a professional designer. All what I was hoping for was to get help and to be told straight into the eyes what is wrong and what is right and I think I took both from you for which I would like to thank you very much. You are all talking of the right way to design, fonts, typography and so on but in order for me to have a clue on these and get the point I will probably need information resources. So the last thing I would like to kindly ask for is some urls of websites with a great design, according to your experienced and professional opinion. I think that it will be helpful for me, otherwise I will probably redesign my website in even worse way and pop up here again in three weeks say'n - " Look at my newest piece of crap - do your eyes feel like in middle ages torturing chamber ???" (joking of course)
  4. Thank you very much! I'm learning. I don't find your comment rude Glowbridge. In fact I'm very happy with it. You don't realize how much you are helping me. Well, all this neva stuff was for a logical reason but i'll get rid of it.
  5. Well thank you for your comment. As you probably noticed the site is not yet finished. A lot of work is going on. Thank you also for reminding me of the footer - I nearly forgot about it. Ill also take under consideration the sliding menu, but let's first see if others will find it annoying and hard to read. Once again thank you very much, I will take some of your advices - especially for the year
  6. Hi all, I've posted my website here some time ago and was told that the design was very crappy (and indeed it was). So here I go again with reloaded enthusiasm posting the same thing again >>> www.nevainfo.com So please tell me guys, what do you think of the design now? Every response will be appreciated.
  7. Yeah, I should probably simplify the design of the site or re-design it in a different way, but call me insane, I like the current design version very much... I've gone through many variants till now and I will probably take my time to redesign it again. I know that it looks a bit like the 90s' web design but I'm not sure that I'm getting the point. Please give me an example of a modern web design. I'm happy with the layout - It's pretty usual one I think. The code - It's dynamically generated by database - PHP (code, links, PR, content, keywords - these are SEO) I am now working on the pages - navigation, content, new functions (traffic friendly - both people and bots), but I will probably go back and for fifth time redesign the whole website. I'm starting to think that everything i made is just wasted time and effort - maybe I have a strange, freaky, funky, ugly and 90s' style .... who knows.. What I know is that I will not throw the project away
  8. Hi, I'm 19 years old and i know that at this age i cannot be a professional. . . Never mind, I decided to create a website about world tourism. Here it is www.nevainfo.com My question is about the design? It was really hard work. Do you think it's good? (Note that it is still under development - 4 months old)
