Hi. I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for hosting I require? At present, we run both PHP and ASP sites so require both Linux and Microsoft hosting with mySQL and MSSQL databases. Originally, we used separate 1and1 packages though uptime was as low as 95% and their support was appalling so we transferred to Mosso (now The Rackspace Cloud). The Rackspace Cloud is cloud hosting and we can run both ASP and PHP pages on the same package (even within the same site). Now although their customer support is excellent, there seem to be lots of issues with the hosting still and lots of features missing. For example, I have tried to set WHMCS on here and even their technical support say it's not possible to set up Email Piping and some of the other features. Other issues I have with The Rackspace Cloud are speed (probably because the servers are in San Antonio and I am in the UK) and also the Control Panel, which is extremely slow, has quite a few bugs and doesn't integrate with anything. Can anyone recommend a hosting company similar, but in the UK, that has excellent support and ideally, that can run ASP and PHP? However, we're thinking of migrating the sites currently running on ASP to a PHP platform so the Microsoft hosting side of it is not essential. A reseller account could be an option as we have an increasing number of clients. Any advice would be really appreciated as I'm currently paying around £80 per month with The Rackspace Cloud and it still has lots of issues. Thanks in advance!
