  1. Hi all, Basically I'm a wannabe web designer and I was hoping for a few hints, tips and recommendations from you all. I'm 22, a recent University graduate (I did Business Studies, why, I don't know) and I'm currently working in marketing, unfortunately not the SEO/online side which would have put me in quite good stead! Anyway, I'm looking to get into web design, I've always had an interest in it but after doing a bit of research (and stumbling across this site in the process!) I've seen that there are loads of 'languages' to learn i.e. CSS, HTML, I'm sure you all know them. Do you think I'm a good few years off knowing what to be able to do in terms of designing a website say if I were to go on a Masters course in web development, along with learning a few languages on the way? I've no idea how long it would take to learn these, I assume quite a long time? I'm in the process of learning Photoshop while working in order to gain some skills and experience of using it in a workplace, does Photoshop work with web design because I know it's mainly used for graphic design? I have a lot of questions to ask but I'll try and not pile them all into one post! I look forward to your responses. Sam
