Thanks I will take a look at that one, but if I wanted copy and paste examples so I can see what the code is doing real time can someone provide any alternative sites?

Hi All, New to PHP and very keen to learn. Can anyone recommend an easy reading site to learn PHP, I have looked at the official PHP website but it is confusing as hell, I need something that gives clear and easy to follow examples. Look forward to all your responses.

  5. Thanks, I changed the code to block and it gives space for the link but the actual text for the link is not displayed but the top edge of the link is visible and can be clicked I am not great with CSS so I am not sure about using another set of code after I have just got to grips with the one I have. Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction again? Thank you
  6. DOH, Combine all the attributes in one class HEHE, just figured it out, hey it is nearly the end of the week LOL

Hey All, My navigation bar is constructed using CSS and I have just run in to a problem that I cannot figure out. If I have more than five links in a drop down only the first five are displayed. I presume there is something in the CSS that controls the height of the drop down but I cannot see it. I have attached the CSS file controlling the drop down navigation, could someone have a look at it and see if they can figure out what the problem is? Thanks dropdown.css

  14. Hi All, I have a requirement to put the date and time on to sites I am developing. I need the code to be XHTML complient so no Java Script please If you take a look at http://davidhodgson.tech.officelive.com, I need the code to fit in the blue NAV bar at the top of the page and be right aligned within that NAV bar! Can anyone help? Thanks
  15. Hi All, I have a quick design question, I have a number of images on a site I am designing that need to be hyperlinked to documents for download or to another site. When I create the link I get a border around the image that I really do not want as it detracts from the design of the site. Can I use CSS to control the border around images also what would a validator say i.e. is it strict XHTML? Thanks
