I created the website for www.sunshinesales.ca and originally I used a script that detect where you are located and show you the proper content depending on the result. But it seems that the script was directing some people to the wrong page... So I redid it with a more simple and straight forward method using a variable in the Url. Now my question is... when you arrive on the index page without the country variable, you are going to be redirected to a sort of splash page. How are the robots going to react to that. Are they going to be block there or will they use the splash page to come back to the site? Is there a way to direct a bot to chose a country? will they try both? Thank you for your answers! Thank you for your answer. About me posting for people to look at my website, I don't have anything to do with restaurant18 and I didn't post my website... Just a stupid question when you spend hours trying to achieve something easy by a really difficult way. And yes, now that I see your answer I feel stupid... LOL... But at least now I understand! hello everyone. I was wondering how to have a background image on the side of the website that won't affect the scrolling bar. like here. http://www.restaurant18.com/en/default.aspx You can see on the 2 side there the picture of the wallpaper but if you minimize the page, the scroll bar appear only for the site itself. It's a little detail but I like how clean it is. thank you. Mathias.
