  1. More "Look at and learn x, y z". My main query is wether it's possible and the best approach to making it work. If someone is willing to show me how to build it - or indeed build it themselves - then i'd certainly expect nothing less than to have to pay for it.
  2. I would be extremely grateful if someone could tell me how to do the following/if it's possible/where I might be able to go to get some more help. Below is a fictional example of what i'd like to happen: 1) Jane Doe vists my site and pays £10 (e.g. via paypal) to play a game e.g. bingo/soduku etc. 2) In the background her details are added to a database as she pays. 3) She is then given a unique link to paste into an email to her friends, asking them to visit the site and pay to play too. In this case she sends it to Joe Bloggs email address. 4) He then clicks the link and signs ups, with the website recognising he clicked on the unique link sent by Jane Doe. 5) In the background his details are added to the database (as in stage 2) and, as the website automatically ties-up Jane Does unique link with her database entry, half of Joes payment is automatically refunded to Jane Doe via, for example, paypal (i.e. like an affiliate she is paid for each player she signs-up). 6) Joe Bloggs is then given his own unique link to paste into an email and sends it to John Smiths email address. 7) John then clicks the link and signs up, with the website recognising he clicked on the unique link sent by Joe Bloggs. 8 ) In the background Johns details are added to the database and half of his payment is automatically refunded to Joe Bloggs (as in stage 5). 9) John smith is then given his own unique link to send and the cycle continues.... NB there is no limit to the amount a person gets back e.g. Jane Doe could reffer 100 friends and get back £50 (half of each of her friends joining fee), as long as the database recognises this and automatically makes the payments. At stages 3 and 6 it would be great to have a facility i've seen somewhere before (it was too long ago to remember exactly where). Basically there was a field to login to hotmail/yahoo/gmail and once you put your details in, it brought up your address book and there were check boxes next to all the email addresses to choose who you wanted to send it to. All you had to do was select/de-select the check boxes and it automatically sent a present email with a unique link (so the webserver knew who had referred the vistor to the site). Thanks in advance for any help!
