I've started some web design for the company I work for.

 

I have a home page design mocked up in Photoshop but I now have a problem.

 

My boss wants a portfolio gallery on the site but wants it designed in HMTL.

 

I know I can buy a Flash component to do this but is can it be done in HTML too?

 

If you look at the home page design, I would like the image of the house to change using the buttons along the bottom and also maybe the corresponding number to highlight.

yep - it certainly can be done in HTML / CSS / JAVASCRIPT. At a push you could do it without the JAVASCRIPT, but personally I think it would not be so good (less functionality), but others will almost certainly disagree.

 

We have just finished exactly this for a client site, where they need an online portfolio, sub divided into four distinct sections.
