I am just setting off on a journey to make a few bucks from the internet! Now I am a novice at HTML etc but have a good understanding of most other things on the 'net.

 

I am in the process of learning HTML and other aspects of web design but it has been suggested to me that I should look at some of the online editor packages which are WYSIWYG

 

Can anyone reccomend any or is it best to learn the HTML and CSS etc and use Dreamweaver?

 

The website I am doing is not complicated, basic pages with images, an interactive photo gallery and a forum.

If your looking to makke 'bucks' oe thing internet users look for before parting with their money is how professional a site looks. If you use a WYSIWYG editr it will reflect in the final outcome and you will probably be left with an ugly link back to their site. Your other options are building your site through something like WordPress. In terms of learning css and html first, this is definently the right route but if your n a short time scale your better off getting yor site made for you by a professional design company, such as Web Design lol. Our rates are VERY cheap on basic page websites and wit our graphic ability we make them look good, the key to getting people feeling comfortable parting with their money. PM me if your interested.

"make money online"... that's pretty vague. Paid membership? Advertising? Licensed IP? The market for each is different. The editor you use, WYSIWYG or not, is just a tool.. what's important is how you'll be marketing it. What's your plan?
