Newbie here! I run a a new site I launched called www.gadgetcomparer.com - would be great to get your advice and opinions to make this web site better both from a UX and conversion perspective!

I thought it was pretty good. Basic, simple design highlights the content. We get why we are there right from the off, I like the layout, with the large post on the left, four more on the right and then the rest of the site.

 

If I had any critical comments I'd say ditch the animated delay loading of the post images, and maybe tweak the typography - make the headlines a more techy font maybe similar to changa?
