Hello guys, I am really noob in html, I just wanted to know if I can make a semi transparent text box over an image?

 

I have a background with a solid color, then an image bg (is there a way I can remove the IE prompt from the upper left corner to resize/save etc. the image btw?) and I wanted a text box to go over it. Is it possible?

Ok I just made it into 9 images:

4 5 6

7 8 9

 

Image 5 is the biggest, and I want to put text INTO it, how do I do that?
