Hi all,

 

I'm thinking of learning jQuery and want to take my JavaScript further. Are there any recommended books / websites that you lot know of that can help me on my quest?

 

My local library network does not have a single book under jQuery so I've now turned to you guys. I would prefer something that would teach and walk through (something like "php and mysql for dynamic websites") as opposed to a reference guide for jQuery.

I've just purchased two books tonight. Once I've had a look through them I'll let you know what I think.

I can also vouch for the "Learning jQuery" book. It gets to the point and it's also pretty good as a reference – although I'd recommend the other book "jQuery Reference Guide" for that.
