I want to make a website which I can change the pattern of an area with another one that the user choose.

For example.This is the first:

and I want to apply pattern to make the following picture

I have no problem with selecting a specific area of the image.
is there any way to do it with php or any web platform.How should I do that?

I think you'll need different images that are already generated using Photoshop (or another Graphics package), and then swap the correct image into the page when the user requests it.

No,It's not possible to use different images Because there are lot's of patterns and colors and many other sofas.the machine have to do this.

I found a solution but the first step is to create bump-map from the image which can be done by photoshop.Is there anyway to create bump-map from server side or client side without using photoshop or other software.I need to so that because I'm making a cms for that.

I don't think it's possible to auto generate good quality outcome in this case. As you have to take shadows in consideration & bends etc. I think it's too complex in this case.

In my view you can design the Images according to the pattern you like and implement this images in the required page by giving the sliding option in the banners.
