Editing a template

Featured Replies

So I bought a website from theme forest and Im having trouble with a lot of different parts of the coding. On this template there are three sub categories on the home button on the left, they branch out into three home layouts.

How do I just have it as the first home layout?

Heres the template I bought : http://themeforest.net/item/synergy-responsive-interactive-html-portfolio/full_screen_preview/3054099

I cant find anywhere on the html to get rid of the other options.

You're going to run into a lot of issues trying to heavilly modify a template, you're best off building up a theme from scratch that is specifically built for the project. Hacking away at something that is designed for something else, while possible will result in poor code that is difficult to manage, poorly optimised and likely to contain many bugs.

I suggest to use themes like this for a quick website where the look and feel is not so critical (super tight budget type thing where you just change logo and colours and that's it.)

The website is for a portfolio and the theme was designed for it. It just had many other options to display the work. I just need to get rid of the extra options and Im set really :(
