July 6, 201412 yr Hey guys, I'm an Ethical Hacking student and as part of one modules we had to learn some basic HTML/CSS/JS/PHP (to better find your flaws Anyway, I enjoyed developing little web pages so I decided I would work on my own news aggregate for the nerdy tech stuff I like. You can find it here (temporary domain). I would say I'm about 95% done. I still need to add things like the arrows for up/down votes (and of course I'm sure some of you will recognize that "logo", it's NOT by me and is only a temporary placeholder, so far this URL hasn't been posted anywhere but here and shouldn't be indexed by any search engines!). But the closer I get towards finishing it the more I am hesitating on the design. When I asked my girlfriend what she thought of it she awkwardly paused and then said it looked "fun...", which wasn't really what I was going for! I'm looking for constructive criticism on the design! EDIT: Feel free to create an account and test the (still very basic) comment feature. All comments and accounts will be deleted before the site goes live anyway. Edited July 6, 201412 yr by AlexK
