Help with recreating this in html

Featured Replies

Hi, I've used wix to create a website, but I'm not so happy with the lack of some basic things, like the ability to add a bit of javascript or use a table to get the same spacing between things.
I found a good free host to mirror the content, but the page source is weird and I can't even find simple things like where the background is (I found the ad part and removed it which surprisingly worked), so I'd like a bit more customisation if possible

The website is here, it's not amazing but it works :p

So, questions -

What would be the best way to do the black bar at the top and bottom?

Can I do a fade in/out page transition?

Should I change anything to make it look nicer?

Cheers :)

The reason why the source code looks wierd is that it is all javascript generated which is crazy it's impossible to see the site without javascript. For the same reason its not very search engine friendly. So It's absolutely a good idea to create your own site instead.

To copy the actual generated HTML you can install this great browser add-on http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer/ . One of the many features is that it allows you to view generated source code.

Nice 3D work in your portfolio by the way :)

You can create this in Html to coy the material of all your web stie written in java into the HTML. use wordpress, because it's perfect for the ecommerce website development. you can create a profound and impressive site if You work with the HTML, CSS, JS and PHP. use different browsers it may the cause of your previous website problem

Hey, thanks guys, I thought I'd replied to nillervision but I must have not hit send haha, just saying the so called 'generated source code' still doesn't actually contain any of the text, wix must have really put work into stopping people copying anything from them :p

Anyways yeah, I've more or less managed to get the site recreated in html and php (try the top link again if anyone's curious), 1 question though, is it possible to have pages fading into each other (as in 1 loads before the other unloads)? I thought it was quite a nice effect, but can't find anything on how to do it

Also, for the record, I did try wordpress, but I couldn't find any themes I liked :p

Thank you for your post ,actually you faces some problem to designing your website ,you wanted to know that 'Should I change anything to make it look nicer? ' i say you yes definitely you can change anything to make your website wonderful and nice.
