iv recently had need to add an affiliate tracking system to my
site.. but iv reached a dead end.. i need some help or someone to do
the final script work for me !

 

in short i have a script with an amount variable in it, this variable
needs to be the amount someone has just made a purchase for via
paypal.. iv studied a few paypal pages and they imply this can be done..
but theres no real detail on how to go about it ! so we need the amount
someone has just spent via paypal , used as a variable in the script
provided by the affiliate program..

 

sounds simple but its way beyond my pay grade .. can anyone help or do the script work (paid of course ) for me ?

 

getting a bit desperate here as noone seems able to do it !

hi there -- ill go into a bit more detail below

 

theres a couple of scripts provided that get the whole tracking process started,

 

then a customer makes a purchase via paypal as per normal.. i set up paypay to send the customer to a generic thank you page after they have made their purchase

 

on this thank you page is a script provided by the affiliate tracking company.. they call it a pixel script

 

this script contians a variable for the amount the customer has just spent without postage in paypal

 

we need to get that info from paypal and use it as the variable in the pixel script..

 

all i have is the provided scripts.. paypal info pages suggest i can get data such as transaction amounts etc.. but they give no real detail in how to do it and use it ! so what with my lack of skills iv been unable to do much of anything other than look for help !

the Amount={1234.56} needs to be the amount the customer has just spent in paypal... again i have no idea at all how to glean this info from paypal !

just me making another desperate plea for anyone with the knowledge to help .. surely the expertise is out there ?

 

interestingly our sites just come under attack.. the insecure files targeted are either 2 files iv uploaded as part of setting up the affiliate program mentioned above.. or our forum software.. seems the fun just gets better .. lol

 

really hope someone can help set this up , please get in touch if you can !
