I am trying to make one of them websites where you can look through photos. but i want my URL to be a basic one such as:

 

www.site.com/image563/

www.site.com/image564/

 

 

or

 

 

www.site.com/image/563

www.site.com/image/564

etc.

 

 

Anyone know how would achieve these? the only difference between each page would be the image being shown. thanks!

If you have access to your .htaccess, you can try this:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.php [NC,L]

Replace the 'php' on line 3 with 'html' for, well - html This will hide the file extension (if that's what you were looking for). There are other ways to do it, but I usually do it in the .htaccess if it's required for the site.
