What would be the best why to build your portfolio?

Hi all,

I was thinking the other day whether i should start developing my portfolio but I have only made one website by myself but ive worked on a few others what other things could i put on my portfolio?

Y'know, I don't even have an online portfolio anymore. I keep a technical blog which I use to show that I know my stuff (which is more-or-less the only reason I'd have a portfolio). Well, there's always Github and jsFiddle ...

As for an actual answer to your question, there's no shame in putting up a link to something you helped on as long as you explain exactly what part of the project was your work and don't try to take credit for the rest. You can also make a couple of websites for fictitious companies if you want to pad out the portfolio a little more.
