review my portfolio site

Featured Replies

I'm wondering what people think of my portfolio site. I'm a freelance designer / developer from The Netherlands.

Besides my work, the site also contains some photographs. Although I don't do many commercial shoots, I'd like people to know about my passion for photography, because sometimes it comes in handy for a project.

All comments are very welcome of course, but please keep in mind I still need to find time to fully optimze for mobile :)

Thanks,

Ronne

Nice Pinterest kind of looks but it will look better if you can decrease the amount of pop-out the boxes are making. This much degree is quite uncomfortable. Maybe by 4-5 px will be OK.

The 3rd page (Photography) looks very empty. Maybe you should do something about it.

On contact page, you can add a contact form and on the sidebar, give your social networking icons.

On the top of the contact form, you may provide your contact address information and tel. numbers.

Hope this helps :)

The only criticism I would make is that when you have text without a white background it's difficult to read.

Very nice, very stylish. It's fun and innovative, and I like the idea of the single page navigation thing you have there. However, I think there should be clear separation between the sections, because I when I scrolled down I wasn't expecting a new section and I was momentarily confused. Maybe it would be a good opportunity to put in some fancy graphic in there or something? Or maybe even a clearer header?

I would say the same as Glowbridge the text is hard to read on that background but other than that I like ... i like a lot :D
