May 12, 200818 yr Im designing a tri fold brochure for a client but its not the usuall size. If you take a look at first the attached image. Rather than having 6 pages (3 out and 3 in) its going to have 12 pages (6 out and 6 in), so if you look at the second attached image this would be the outside of the borchure. Its going to be very similar to a standard tri fold brochure but obviously with the extra pages. My problem is i cant find any templates for this type of brochure and im having difficulties getting the dimensions and sizing correct. Does anyone know the correct name for this type of brochure or where i can find a template. I would appreciate any help with this.
May 12, 200818 yr ::edited:: I was going to say duplex trifold, but that'd be if the printing were on 2 sides... this is only printed on one side, right? ::edited again:: Once you've done the halfway fold, does the rest of it go like a z-fold or like a barrel fold? May 13, 200818 yr Well, dunno if it is really relevant, but did you try to use Adobe Indesign instead ? It's sopposed to be much more easy in this one.

As far as i know its going to be a barrel fold so i have set up a template with the width of each page decreasing from right to left so that the front page is largest in width. If im right this should fold correctly ?

I have indesign available to me but ive always used photoshop or illustrator because i know how to use them. If i open up indesign it usually takes me 3 times as long to do something since i dont know where to find all the tools etc. I guess i should really start using indesign but its just getting the time and patience to get used to the program.

If im right this should fold correctly ? Depending on the paper, you might not need to. Lighter weights probably won't need it. Thicker stock might need it taking into account.. I'm not sure that decreasing each page would be the way, though (unless it were really thick). My first thought would be to do it like this: ..so the last (innermost) fold would be the shorter one, and the other two would be equal. Might be an idea to check it with the printer. They might even have a template you could use.
