Hi guys! I know the following will be a newbie question, but I need your help and I would really appreciate if you may step into solving me this problem.

 

I've just purchased a domain name with 1and1 and I already have a db with aruba. Since I would like to install drupal (IIS will give me some headache, I've made the mistake of buying a windows server), I would like to link my new domain to the db.

How to do so? Is there any problem if the two providers are different?
