May 21, 201214 yr <iframe width="420" height="320" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/LSnpYTHM" frameborder="0"> </iframe> Why this does not work to me? The black rectangle of youtube object is shown , the preloader comes up loading but the video never loads. The html file on which video is placed is not online , it loads from my local disk , however if it points to a url and I am connected it should work (?). Thanks ps .: by the way , I ´ve seen on some pages in the web the embeded videos are not shown as the page loads as a dark rectangle , what is very ugly , but it is shown as a picture and the controls are shown as well. how to do thiis ? May 21, 201214 yr That video url doesn't play a video if I enter the url directly into a browser address bar, but I get the YouTube buttons at the bottom, so perhaps the video has been deleted? I tried other videos from teh YouTube site which did work. Make sure that you have JavaScript/ActiveX enabled.
May 21, 201214 yr As said before the video is probally removed! If you don't like the black theme, you can get the white theme Link Cheers

If you don't like the black theme, you can get the white theme Link Nope , I made a mistake , the correct code is LSnpYTHM-do Both are still on the server I´ve just tested ; And thank you very much , your link about themes was very helpful regards Edited May 21, 201214 yr by ronwolpa
May 21, 201214 yr I've just tried that revised url http://www.youtube.com/embed/LSnpYTHM-do directly in a Firefox window and it plays, but doesn't play when inside an iframe. Perhaps you have to play from an online iframe or use full code for video using object and embed tags to play from a local file.
