May 16, 201214 yr Hi guys, I'm still getting my little side project ready that integrates various forms of social, content and SEO, which I will share the results of once it's up and running. I just wanted to ask what social media programs are out there for automated and synchronising blogs, facebook, twitter, etc. I know about hootsuite, tweetdeck and feedburner, but wondered if there are any others you've used or could recommend? The plan is to create video content on youtube, transcribe it to a blog (and embed the video at the top of the blog post). Meanwhile links are auto generated to the blog from the facebook group via facebook RSS feed. Somehow I need to set up the same automation from twitter and google plus (no idea how). Then I need to use some kind of program to schedule posts well in advance for twitter, facebook and google plus as well. How do I do this? Basically the plan is to keep creating everything a month in advance with regular feature slots. Meanwhile certain times will be left free for immediate news updates, etc, in case anything interesting suddenly happens in my chosen industry. insights and help much appreciated as always
May 19, 201214 yr As far as I'm aware, you can't post content to G+ at this moment in time, their API is read only or something. You can set up most of the other stuff though, depending on which blogging platform you're using. In Tumblr you just grant auth to twitter/fb, WP probably has plugins, etc. The same can be said for post scheduling too. You could probably also get some use out of ifttt.com. Failing those techniques I suppose you could get a decent backend dev to create something using the various API's available. ~evu.
June 7, 201214 yr Author That's cool, thanks very much. Am trying various social media dashboard tools at the moment. Will report back with what I end up using and how once project launches.
